Ironside Resources (Ironside Recruitment Pty Ltd, ABN 62 614 632 094) handles personal information every day as part of our recruitment work. We take that seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your information.

What This Policy Covers
This policy applies to anyone whose personal information we hold, including:

What We Collect
We collect information that helps us match candidates to roles and run our business. Depending on your relationship with us, this can include:
- Name, contact details, address, and date of birth
- Employment history, qualifications, references, and CV content
- Right-to-work and identity verification documents
- Security clearance status (where relevant to a role)
- Information you provide through our website, forms, calls, or meetings
- Technical data when you visit our website, including browser type, device, and pages viewed
Sensitive Information
Recruitment work sometimes involves what the Privacy Act calls “sensitive information”, such as criminal history, health information, or details relevant to security vetting. We only collect sensitive information when:
- It is reasonably necessary for our work, and
- You have given us your consent.
We hold this information securely and only share it with parties who need it for the same purpose.
How We Collect Information
We collect information directly from you whenever possible. This includes:
- When you register with us as a candidate
- When you respond to a job advertisement
- When you complete a form on our website

- When an employer or referee provides information about you
We may also collect information from public sources such as LinkedIn or industry directories, where it is relevant to your professional engagement with us.
Why We Collect It

- Refer you to specialist partners where you have asked us to (see “Referral Partners” below)

Who We Share It With
We only share your information with people and organisations who need it to help us deliver the services you have asked for, or where the law requires it.
Service Providers
This includes our IT systems, customer relationship management software, email platform, and other tools we use to run our business. These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations and only handle your information for the purposes we engage them for.
Hiring Clients
Where you are a candidate, we share your information with prospective employers as part of placing you in a role. We do not share your information with clients without your knowledge.
Referral Partners
From time to time, we partner with specialist providers who offer services that complement our recruitment work. Where you ask us to refer you to one of these partners, we will share the information needed to set up that service for you.
Our current referral partner for security clearance sponsorship is:
Logi-Tech Pty Ltd (ABN 31 612 460 787), part of the Para Bellum Group, based in Marleston, South Australia. Logi-Tech is a DISP Level 3 certified provider of security clearance sponsorship and management services.
When you complete the pre-application form for Security Clearance as a Service, your registration details will be shared between Ironside Resources and Logi-Tech for the sole purpose of starting your clearance application. The form will ask for your explicit consent before this happens.
We disclose that Ironside Resources receives a referral fee from Logi-Tech for each candidate who proceeds with their clearance services. This fee does not increase the cost to you.
You can withdraw your consent to this data sharing at any time by contacting us, or by withdrawing your application directly with Logi-Tech.
Legal and Compliance
We may disclose information where required by law, including in response to a court order, subpoena, or lawful request from a regulator. We may also disclose information to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Business Changes
If our business is sold, merged, or restructured, your information may be transferred to the new owner. We will require them to handle it under terms at least as protective as those in this policy.
Where Your Information Is Stored
We store information in secure systems both in Australia and overseas. Some of our service providers, including our customer relationship management software and email platform, host data on servers in the United States. Where information is sent overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How We Keep It Secure
We use a combination of physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. We train our team on privacy and review our practices regularly. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat this responsibility seriously.
Your Rights
You can:
- Access the information we hold about you. Just ask us. We will respond within a reasonable time and at no cost.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Withdraw consent to specific uses of your information, including referral arrangements.
- Unsubscribe from our marketing emails using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need to hold.
